Day 1:
Short overview:
Muscat/Misfat Al Abriyeen old village/ Jabal Shams Mountain/ Muscat
Details:

You will start your tour at 8 am going towards Misfat Al Abriyeen, a magnificent old mountain village located in Al Hamra. There you will see ancient houses and water canals (falaj) used for irrigation. Enjoy some refreshments inside one of the old guest houses in village. Then you will continue driving to Jabal Shams Mountain (Grand Canyon) for breathtaking views and have dinner and stay the night in a mountain camp.

Stay the night at Sama Heights Resort, Jabal Shams Grand Canyon.

Day 2:
Short overview:
Bahla Fort/Bahla Souq/Jabreen Castle/Muscat
Details:

After breakfast you will visit Bahla Fort (There are three parts inside the fort: AlQasaba (oldest), Bait Al Hadith (Youribi dynasty) and Bait Al Jabal(18 century)). From there you will walk to the souq of Bahla. Then, you will drive to Jabreen Castle (built by Imam Belarab Al Yourabi in 1670 with 55 rooms). The castle was used mainly for the Imam family home and his soldiers. From there you will be brought back to Muscat.

Details:

You will begin your tour at 8:00 am going towards the interior gate of Oman Al Dakhiliyah region to Nizwa, the old capital of Oman characterized by its unique architecture, popular market, old defensive fort and castle. Enjoy shopping different food products especially the local dates. Then you will walk to Nizwa Fort (built in middle of the 17th century AD by Imam Sultan bin Saif Yarub) and the castle (built in 9th century AD by Imam Assalt bin Malik Alkharousi). From there you will continue to Al Jebal Alkhadar Mountain (around 2,300 m height) and enjoy the spectacular view of agriculture terraces and an old village located on the cliff of the mountain.

Stay the night at DusitD2 Naseem Resort, Jabal Akhdar.

Day 2:

Short overview:

Birkat al Mouz old village/Al Hota cave/ Misfat Al Abreen/ Muscat

Details:
After breakfast you will visit an ancient 2000-year-old water canal still used for irrigation of the local farms and stop by the old village of Birkat Al Mouz. Then, you will continue to Al Hota cavefor a tour inside . afterwards visit Misfat Al Abriyeen, an ancient mountain village located in Al Hamra.Afterwards you will be taken back to Muscat.

The tour starts at 8:00 am towards AlSharqia region. On the way you will stop at the scenic Fanja village and from there go on to Wadi bani Khalid. There you can swim and hike and buy local refreshments. Afterwrds you will continue on to the great golden dunes of Wahiba Sand desert. You will be able to rest and relax at the desert camp, enjoy a beautiful sunset and be served a local dinner under the stars.

Stay the night at Sama Alwasil Desert Camp

Dinner will be served for you in the camp.

Day 2:

Desert/Nizwa/ Birkat Al Mouz/ Muscat
Details:
You have the option of watching the sun rise before enjoying the breakfast and then you can go for a camel ride or rent a quad bike.
