Short overview:
This tour is especially for cruise ship guests at Sultan Qaboos Port Gate (Muscat). The tour will start going with a visit to the fish market and seeing local Omani boats. Then you will walk to the vegetables and fruit market. Next, you will continue on to Mutrah fort, located on top of a mountain. Enjoy the view of city from the fort and continue on to explore Mutrah souq (market) with local Omani and Indian products. From there you will go back to the port gate.

Short overview:
The transfer will take you to the marina. Experience one of Oman’s best mountain sea coastlines. Enjoy snorkeling in the clear water and see marine life. You will also have the chance to drive jet-skis (for some minutes) and ride a banana boat. Have some refreshments, relax and start kayaking from the boat.

Muscat/ Wadi Shap adventure (40 min hiking) and swimming to the waterfall cave/ White beach/ Wild Arabian deer area/ Sinkhole.

Trip Details:
The tour starts at 8 am exploring the beauty of the eastern coastal region of Oman. At Wadi Shap. you will cross the river by boat and then continue on foot walking between beautiful farms behind the mountains enjoying the spectacular view. Then you will reach a point where you start swimming to reach the waterfall cave by going between narrow rocks. After the wadi you can go for lunch at a local Omani restaurant. Next, you will continue on to the beach. You may even get the chance to see some wild Arabian deer. Then, you will visit Bimmah sink hole (Hawyat Najm) which is a hole 20 m deep. Afterwards you will go back to Muscat where the tour ends

Short overview:

Muscat/ Fanja photo stop/ Nizwa Souq,Fort and Castle/ Alkatmeen Falaj (old water canal)/ Birkat Al Mouz old village.

You will begin your tour at 8:00 am going towards the interior of the Oman Al Dakhiliyah region. On the way you will stop in the scenic Fanja village. Then you will reach Nizwa  (the former capital of Oman), characterized by its unique architecture, busy market, old defensive fort and castle. Enjoy shopping different for local food, especially dates. Then you will walk to Nizwa Fort which was built in middle of the 17th century AD by Imam Sultan bin Saif Yarubi and the castle which was built in 9th century AD by Imam Assalt bin Malik Alkharousi. Next, you will go back to Muscat and visit an ancient (2000 year) old water canal (which is used until today for irrigation) and the old village of Birkat Al Mouz on the way back.

The tour starts at 8:30am after  breakfast going towards the biggest mosque in Oman (capacity 20,000 people) which was opened in 2001. The mosque is a unique companation of islamic design from around the world and  Omani architecture. Especially unique is the huge main hall which has the second largest chandelier and single piece carpet in the world. Then you will continue to the Royal Opera House which was open in 2011 by the order of Sultan Qaboos. Enjoy the tour inside the opera house and after that you will have a short stop over in Al-Qurm Beach and see the mangrove trees… From there the tour continues on to Muttrah souq which is a traditional Arab market housed under modern timber roofing. There you can buy frankincense which is locally produced in the south of Oman (Luban), you will also find local jewelry, kashmiri textiles and perfumes. Afterwards, you will have a photo stop on top of old Muscat City, Alam palace and two ancient Portuguese forts (built in the 1580s). Next, visit the Oman National Museum to learn more about Oman history, social life, tradition and customs, old civilization and many different collections from the past. Finally you will see the Parliament building and end the tour at Qantab beach village.
