Trip Details:
The tour begins at 8:00 am going towards the interior gate of Oman Al Dakhiliyah region. On the way you will stop at the scenic Fanja village .Then you will continue on to Nizwa (the former capital of Oman). Characterized by its unique architecture, busy market, old defensive fort and castle. Enjoy shopping for local fruits like dates. Then you will walk to Nizwa Fort (built in the middle of the 17th century AD by Imam Sultan bin Saif Yarubi) and the castle (built in the 9th century AD by Imam Assalt bin Malik Alkharousi). Next, you will visit Bahla Fort. There are three part inside the fort: AlQasaba (oldest), Bait Al Hadith (Youribi dynasty) and Bait Al Jabal (18 century). After you will go to the souq of Bahla. Then, you will drive to Jabreen Castle. This castle was built by Imam Belarab Al Yourabi in 1670 with 55 rooms and many floors that reach to 43 metres. The castle was mainly used for the Imam´s family home and to house his soldiers.
