Enjoy shopping different food products especially the local dates. Then you will walk to Nizwa Fort (built in middle of the 17th century AD by Imam Sultan bin Saif Yarub) and the castle (built in 9th century AD by Imam Assalt bin Malik Alkharousi). From there you will continue to Al Jebal Alkhadar Mountain (around 2,300 m height) and enjoy the spectacular view of agriculture terraces and an old village located on the cliff of the mountain. Stay the night at DusitD2 Naseem Resort, Jabal Akhdar. Day 2: Short overview: Birkat al Mouz old village/Al Hota cave/ Misfat Al Abreen/ Muscat Details: After breakfast you will visit an ancient 2000-year-old water canal still used for irrigation of the local farms and stop by the old village of Birkat Al Mouz. Then, you will continue to Al Hota cavefor a tour inside . afterwards visit Misfat Al Abriyeen, an ancient mountain village located in Al Hamra.Afterwards you will be taken back to Muscat.
